03 / How the grip changes the load

Same weight.
Different leverage.

The bottom grip holds the load closer to your hand; the top grip moves it farther away. The rounded openings also let you rotate the bell as you move between positions.

Changing grip changes leverage, not the weight of the product.

Product questions

What is Flowbell?

Flowbell is a free weight from Onflo with five grip positions for curls, presses, rows, swings and lower-body exercises.

What changes when I switch grips?

The load sits differently relative to your hand. The bottom grip brings it closer; the top grip places it farther away. This changes the leverage and feel of the movement without changing the weight.

Can I use it with one hand or two?

Both. The wide and double over grips are used with two hands. The single over grip is used for one-arm rows and swings. Some demonstrations use a pair of Flowbells.

Which weights are available?

Check the weight selector above for current options, prices and availability.

Why do the photos show kilograms?

The photos and demonstrations show the Korean models. See the Korean specifications below for reference; US dimensions and product markings are not yet confirmed.

What should I check before using it?

Inspect the weight for damage, use a level surface and leave enough room for the full movement. Warm up first. Do not modify the product or let children use it unsupervised. Stop using a damaged product and contact Customer Care.
